Learn More About Back Country Forestry

Back Country Forestry LLC is a small family-owned business located in the heart of Lancaster County, PA. The owner, Levi Jr, began as a little boy learning about the forest with his father and uncle. He worked under his father for many years and, in September 2020, has branched off on his own to create Back Country Forestry LLC.

Over 20 Years of Experience

The owner oversees all jobs and works directly with the crew on site. We've been involved with forest management for over 20 years and are SFI Certified. We handle all permits, and you receive 100% payment before harvest activity begins. Upon job completion, Back Country Forestry LLC grades and seeds all skid trails with grass seed, leaving a nice walking trail. Timber, like any other renewable source, is a crop and must be managed and harvested correctly. When doing so, there are many benefits to the forest and you, as the owner.
